The Information I Consume

`When it comes to news, my sources of information typically consist of seeing something on TikTok and then going over to the New York Times to verify if it's true. Either that or cbs news. Since I haven't been living at home, I don't consistently watch the news since it feels so doom and gloom lately. I try to keep up when it is all over my social media. However, since your asking when I do use news outlets, I like the new york times, cbs, and nbc. These are my main sources since they are the most mainstream, and my thought process is typically “the more respected writers”.

As AI gets better I do get a little worried about how some people believe it. As a younger person, I have the insight to know if something is AI, however, older generations have appeared to not be so good. So how might this affect our voting and overall systems of beliefs. Fake news has been prominent for a long time, whatever gets the clicks or worse, how far can you go to help reinstate someones already skewed belief. Personally, the best way I have found to find the better information is by using multiple sources. do they all agree or is it a single source that has a single story? The media is all over the place, the best we can do is look for multiple sources
